Publishing news is a core function of IProduction. Articles can be entered into the system using a WYSIWYG editor or imported via NITF data feed from other content workflow systems.
Stories are given a tile, connected to the author database, and tagged with category and topics.
The powerful What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWG) editor provides easy entry and update of the body of an article.
Articles can be given embargo dates and times at which time they will be automatically released. Commenting can be set on or off on an article by article basis.
IProduction has built in SEO best practices. The SEO section provides for entry of key SEO components.
An article can use any number of photos and captions it can have. PDF, audio, and video files can be associated with each article.
When images are uploaded, a special option is available that will automatically create alternative image sizes that will be used when the article is places on pages that require an alternate image size, like the home page, landing page, or search results.
Each article can use an unlimited number of shoulder boxes—call out boxes used to provide links to other content, special images, and call out text.
