How to Create and Post an Issue

 To post an issue, select the Articles tab and then, under Issue Management, select the desired publication.

A list of issues will be displayed.  An issue is a collection of articles that are published at the same time.  Issues are typically used to publish content like monthly magazines, newsletters or daily alerts.

An issue that is marked as “Current” will be displayed in the Current Issue container and section of a website. 

Posted issues are available to readers.

Un-posted issues have not been published.  They cannot be seen and are not available in site search.

To create a new issue, go to Actions and select Add Issue

Complete the Issue Properties by entering volume and issue information. 

The Date is the date that the issue will be published.  This activates automatic posting to the site.

The Date line field is displayed as the date for each article in the issue.

Save the issue.

The issue will be saved. 

To add articles, choose the list story link and then choose the add story link.

Add all the articles for this issue.

When you have completed adding the articles, you can preview your issue by selecting list issues and then select the view icon for the issue.

To see the articles contained in an issue select the edit icon.

When the issue has been proofed, you are ready to post the issue. 

Select “List Issues”, select the edit icon for the issue.  Then select the “Post Issue” link.

Confirm the start date and time for the issue release.  Enter your email address so that you will receive the post confirmation message.

Submit the form

The issue will publish on the desired date and time.

To post an issue, select the Articles tab and then, under Issue Management, select the desired publication.
